J. L. Mann Academy commissioned Doug to make a bronze of their mascot for their new school. This slightly larger than life sculpture is located inside the school's new building.

The unveilling was held on January 3, 2008 and covered by WYFF's playbook.

The Greenville Journal covered the creation of the sculpture with an article on Dec. 28, 2008 and later did an article about the unveiling.
